It is with great sadness and loving hearts that we share the passing of Doris Caron Shenker, wife of the late Sam Shenker, at 97 years old on December 5, 2021. Our mother outlived most of the doctors who said she would not reach 70 years old…it was the great love of her family that always kept her going and going like the Eveready battery! Mother of her ‘five diamonds’, Louise Weiner, David Shenker (Nechama), Carolle Miskin (Michael), Murray Shenker (Judy), and Sharon Shenker. Sister and sister-in-law of the late Ida (Caron) and the late Jack Blander and the late Issie Caron and Felice.

Cherished grandmother of Karen Weiner, Rabbi Ben Zion Shenker (Leah), Yosef Shalom Shenker (Ilisa), Danny Miskin, Eli Miskin, Amy Hoffman (Shawn), Nadav Shenker (Marissa), Alex Shenker, Kyra Shenker, Robin Alcaraz (Nick), and Carly Shenker. Cherished great-grandmother of Nora, Mya, Jaiden, Chaya Elka, Esther Chana, Rachel, Yaakov Simcha, Aharon, Pinchas, Sarah Etta, Elka Leah, Chana Sarah, Aviva Esther, Pessa Mindel, Cooper, Saige, Hadley, Nathan, and Emma.

Much loved aunt and great-aunt, cousin, and friend to many.
