It is with great sadness that the family of Archie Mintz announces his
peaceful passing on Monday, November 28, 2022, in his 88th year.
Beloved husband of Bianca St Gelais - Mintz. Cherished father &
father-in-law of Andrea Obront-Smith and Michael Smith; Brian and
Jolene Mintz; France Mailloux & John Klein. Loving grandfather of
Brittany and Kyle Apps; Dylan Obront; Lee and Hailey Mintz; Lorne
Mintz. Proud great grandfather of Callie, Dorian, and Melody. Dear
brother and brother-in-law of Miriam Malkus; the (late) Irving Mintz;
the (late) Jimmy Mintz and Molly Mintz; Jean-Marc St-Gelais and Edith
Proulx; Roger St-Gelais and Leslie Plant; Danielle St Gelais and
Richard Payant. He will be dearly missed by his nieces and nephews.
He was a very special person who touched many lives, an athlete, a
singer, a business man, a lover of bargains, a man with the gift of
gab who had so many great lifelong friends. He will be sadly missed by
all those who knew and loved him.

As the niece of Miriam i was fortunate to have know Archie over many years . Archie was a man of interest , fun loving , and respective and loving of family . He was kind hearted and genuine.
Knowing that he suffered for so long he is finally at peace .
Archie will always remain in our hearts and will never be forgotten .
May his family accept our very deepest sympathy .
You are in our thoughts and prayers at this time .
May Archie rest in peace knowing that he was so loved and admired and respected by so many .

Archie truly was a wonderful man, husband and friend who touched my life with his kind heart. I always loved his stories, singing, smile, laughter and encouraging words. His beautiful wife Bianca took care of him with her living kind heart. How he loved her cooking.. My sincere condolences and prayers to the family. I will truly miss him. ❤️🙏🌺

With great sadness and sorrow, we mourn the passing of our dear cousin,Archie. He was our friend, part of our family, and a lively and bright person to be with. We will never forget our good times and we will cherish these wonderful memories..
It was Archie who hired me at Karmin over 30 years ago and I still remember that day like it was yesterday. I could literally write a book about our time together. Archie was always there for me if I needed him and to motivate me when I struggled. He gave me the greatest motivational speeches. I was in awe of his unlimited energy, how his brain worked, his sales skills and his calming manner. When I would speak to him in later years he always told me how happy and proud he was that I was doing well. I have been quoting Archieisms for the past 30 years and I will continue to quote them for the next 30. He will be greatly missed. My condolences to the family.

Archie was a cousin of my late father, Issie Landau. I have fond memories of him from Bar Mitzvahs, and weddings from years gone by, as well as from his visits to my late father during his final illness. He always took interest in the extended family. I extend condolences to the entire family on this sad occasion.

We had the best of times in Florida and the Laurentians. We will always remember Arch he had such a personnality. Wehad a great time playing tennis together with the gang. May you rest in peace . We will miss those dinners with you.
